What is the Syllabus for ICAR 2021?

NTA conducts the ICAR AIEEA on behalf of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) for admission in various bachelors and master’s degrees in central and state colleges/universities. The exam is conducted once a year. This year the exam’s application form has been released in the last week of March 2021.

The basic eligibility required for appearing in the ICAR exam is:

  • Applicant must be a resident of the Indian subcontinent.
  • The age of the applicants must be between 16 years as of August 2021.
  • The applicant must have passed the 10+2 examination with a subject combination of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics/Agriculture/Home Science in 10+2 from a recognised state or central board with a minimum of 50% in aggregate (40% for reserve candidates).
  • Applicants opting for stream A in the admission test must have passed 10+2 with a subject combination of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Agriculture/Home Science.
  • Applicants opting for stream B in the admission test must have passed 10+2 with a subject combination of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
