NTA conducts the ICAR AIEEA on behalf of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) for admission in various bachelors and master’s degrees in central and state colleges/universities. The exam is conducted once a year. This year the exam’s application form has been released in the last week of March 2021.
The basic eligibility required for appearing in the ICAR exam is:
Applicant must be a resident of the Indian subcontinent.
The age of the applicants must be between 16 years as of August 2021.
The applicant must have passed the 10+2 examination with a subject combination of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics/Agriculture/Home Science in 10+2 from a recognised state or central board with a minimum of 50% in aggregate (40% for reserve candidates).
Applicants opting for stream A in the admission test must have passed 10+2 with a subject combination of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Agriculture/Home Science.
Applicants opting for stream B in the admission test must have passed 10+2 with a subject combination of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
