This 2020 will be one of the most unforgettable years so far for all of us despite age. We had to face one of the worst pandemics of our generation. Yes, several pandemics in history wiped the human population on earth but those were part of history and now we are becoming a part of history. The lockdown time was one of the weirdest times that we spent in our homes. No clubbing, no hang out with friends, no jobs and offices, empty streets, squares, and parks, and our whole world revolves around sleeping, snacking, and Netflix. The corona virus has brought with it several negative outcomes, illness and death, and lockdown. But, it provided some positivity as well.

Work From Home

A huge number of people will get up at “7” and will leave for their offices and do their 8-hour job and it was their normal routine. Some of them such as executive assistant may require them to work even longer but because of the virus outbreak offices were close and we have to work from home and admit it, no one ever thought we may have to work like that and it can still provide fruitful results to the companies. We learned that there are certain parts of the job that can be done remotely. Once the pandemic is our, let’s talk about some options of work from home when necessary after all, who wouldn’t like working with the comfort of a bedroom or lounge and in PJs.

Internet Is Necessity

Lockdown wasn’t easy after some time but it was still bliss for most of us thanks to the internet. But not everyone has this facility particularly in developing countries, they have to lack meaningful resources where they can get inspired form the global players. But on the other hand, we get to meet our friends online, got lectures online, a huge number of people get to learn from the online platforms from graphics to coding, creating a resume and cover letter writing, office work and how can we forget the “Netflix and Amazon prime. The Internet is a basic human right.

Doctors And Researchers Are Unsung Heroes

We all know how dangerous the Covid-19 can be and this is the reason that we had to face the lockdown. But it was the doctors, researchers, and paramedics who didn’t quit their job and they didn’t care about their lives and put themselves in the mouth of danger to save other humans. Though doctors are often praised now they need to be praised way more than ever and so are the researchers who are working hard to create a cure for corona. They need to be praised and paid better through social media and mainstream media.

We Should Help Mothers

If you are living on your own, then this may not be something you would find interesting but the fact is, Our mothers are managing the house way better and we should learn how to manage the whole house on our own. Though we do chores something we never like but now, we have understood why mothers want us to learn to cook, wash dishes and help her in cleaning homes. She is another unsung hero of our families and we should praise her. Also, we should learn how to cook. After all, knowing what in your food will make your food instantly tasty.
